Stonemasonry Teaching Fellow Placement

We are currently advertising a Stonemasonry Teaching Fellow bursary placement. This post is full time and for duration of 12 months with an option of possible extension for a further 12 months. The Teaching Fellow would be expected to cover delivery of SQA qualifications in stone masonry and other traditional skills, application and use of traditional materials, and working with students in a learning environment.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a high level of craft potential and will have completed formal vocational training in stonemasonry. Hosted by Historic Scotland and based at Forth Valley College in Stirling, the Teaching Fellow may have the opportunity to undertake placements or training with other relevant organisations.

A completed application form and full CV, should be received by 4pm on the closing date of Thursday 18th September 2014. The successful candidate will be expected to be free to take up the post as soon as possible.
