As well as the usual bursary places for third year students, tickets for our annual Technical Conservation Summer School are now available for purchase. This week long training course provides a solid introduction to traditional building materials and their repair and maintenance through a combination of lectures, field trips and hands on practical sessions.
By the end of the week you will have insight into how to approach working with traditional buildings and their component materials. Lectures and practical sessions will take place at Stirling's Forth Valley College campus and Stirling University. Exact timings and locations to be confirmed. Accommodation not included.

Metal 2013 Conference 16 September 2013 - 20 September 2013
Surgeons' Hall, Nicolson Street, Edinburgh. The ICOM-CC triannual conference will see experts from around the globe discuss the latest research developments in conservation and treatment of metal artefacts and structures.
