Skills for the Future Bursary Scheme

Historic Scotland has two 12 month bursary awards available for study and work at the National Trust for Scotland property Barry Mill, Angus. Each bursary will be paid at a rate of £14,500 per annum

These bursaries in traditional mill work are open to candidates with good hand skills and high level of craft potential, direct experience is not required. Historic Scotland has two 12 month bursary awards available for study and work at Smails Printing Works, owned by the National Trust for Scotland. Each bursary will be paid at a rate of £14,500 per annum

These bursaries in traditional print work are open to candidates with good hand skills and high level of craft potential, direct experience is not required. It is assumed candidates will have a keen interest in the subject, and in building conservation in general.
