In September 2012, we launched the Energy House, a computer-based application created to help homeowners improve energy efficiency in traditionally constructed buildings.

Information is presented in an accessible and interactive format, covering thermal improvements to roofs, walls, windows, doors and fireplaces, as well as general advice about practical energy-saving measures and the importance of moisture movement and ventilation in older buildings.

Up until now, this tool was only available as a USB stick from our publications office, but now it is also available for download from our website. Follow the link below and sneak a peek in the Energy House!
